I. Third-Party Audits
Processes and procedures of the
McCloud Services Pest Management Program for Food and Drug Plants are based on, and designed to be in compliance with, the following third-party auditing agencies and/or auditing standards:
McCloud Services personnel are available for participation in third-party agency audits, per client request, with advance notice.
II. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
All pest management programs will comply with the current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and facility/company specific GMPs.
Service personnel will be trained, and fully comply with, your specific GMPs prior to initiating service.
III. Pest Management Plan
A pest management plan specific to the needs and requirements of your facility is developed, as a result of
McCloud Services' initial inspection, examination of history, third-party audit agency requirements, and discussions with plant personnel.
The
McCloud pest management plan is designed to meet all of your requirements.
Our plan utilizes a process approach to pest management, focusing on identification and elimination of causes of infestations rather than remediation of high risk situations as they occur.
IV. Approved Materials
McCloud Services provides you with a complete list of pesticides, our standard Approved Materials List, which will be used in your facility.
Or, we will comply with an existing Approved Materials List, specific to your facility or company.
This type of document is often required to meet certain third-party audit agency requirements and provides more information regarding when, where, and how pesticides are applied.
V. Threshold Action Plan
McCloud Services can work with you to develop a
Threshold Action Plan, similar to what you do with your
HACCP Plans.
This plan would define specific actions that would be taken when predetermined levels of pest activity are exceeded.
These actions will focus on identification of the cause of the problem, and seek to eliminate the cause, thereby preventing future non compliance.
