ServSafe Food Safety Training


The McCloud Services Food Safety Department offers The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation's ServSafe Food Safety Training course.   This course covers the following topics:

  • The safe food handler
  • Purchasing and receiving safe food
  • Storing food safely
  • Keeping food safe during preparation and service
  • Principles of a HACCP system
  • Sanitary facilities and equipment
  • Cleaning and sanitizing
  • Employee food safety training
  • Integrated Pest Management
  • Food safety regulations
  • Contamination, food allergies and food borne illness

All McCloud employees complete the ServSafe course during their first year of employment.
