At McCloud Services, we take pride in delivering long term protection against the risk to your brand, property, and bottom line. Our Food Protection program ensures food safety throughout the chain of custody, from the grain elevator to the grocery store, and provides a systematic, information intensive approach that’s dependent on understanding and monitoring customer environments.
McCloud's Total Quality Assurance (TQA) pest management program is based on a thorough site-specific risk assessment. Based on McCloud Services’ initial inspection, examination of pest pressure history, third party audit agency and customer audit requirements, and discussions with key personnel, a pest management plan specific to the needs and requirements of your facility will be developed. Our site survey process ensures equipment numbers, placement, and service frequencies are based on reducing risk, rather than on simply placing equipment in a standard pattern.
Our plan will utilize a “Process” approach to Integrated Pest Management focusing on identification, and elimination, of the cause of issues rather than reacting to pest pressure as it occurs. This environmentally-conscious program contains predetermined actions based on pest activity (the Threshold Action Plan), as well as scheduled trend analysis to ensure the program responds to changes in pest, structural, or sanitation conditions. A client-approved materials list is designed to reduce risk and minimize pesticide usage. In addition, McCloud conducts scheduled program reviews to achieve continuous improvement in your plan.
As part of our Total Quality Assurance program, McCloud Services works with you to develop a Threshold Action Plan based on our facility assessment and hazard analysis, very similar to a HACCP program. The plan will define specific actions to be taken when predetermined levels of pest activity are met or exceeded. These actions will focus on identifying the cause of the problem and seeking to eliminate it, thereby preventing risk of future non-compliance.
Trend reports generated by RapidTrax powered by PestPac Mobile, our electronic data collection and web-based reporting system, enable monitoring and immediate reporting of pest activity, and in conjunction with a Threshold Action Plan, provide a proactive means of establishing a Pest Management Process.
McCloud Services’ pest management programs will comply with the current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and facility or company specific GMPs. Service personnel will be trained, and fully comply, with your specific GMPs prior to initiating service.
All services are performed in accordance with the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) third party auditing agencies (if required). Members of our staff include a certified Safe Quality Food (SQF) consultant and a British Retail Consortium (BRC) auditor.
